XYZ Homework support helps with your account, signing in, access codes and payment, and problems opening or using XYZ Homework. For some questions, your instructor or your college is the right place to ask.

Who to ask first

  • Your instructor: due dates, extensions, extra attempts, grades and scores, and which assignments to do. These are your instructor’s decisions.
  • Your college’s disability services office, then your instructor: accommodations, such as extra time on tests. Disability services approves them, and your instructor sets them up in XYZ Homework. Extra time set in your LMS doesn’t carry into XYZ Homework. See Extra time and other accommodations.
  • Your college’s LMS help desk: trouble signing in to Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Blackboard or Moodle itself.
  • XYZ Homework support: everything else about XYZ Homework.

How to reach support

What to include

Support can help faster when your first message has all of this:

  • your school;
  • your LMS (Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Blackboard or Moodle), or that you joined at xyzhomework.com with a Course ID;
  • the course name as you see it;
  • your instructor’s name;
  • the email address on your XYZ Homework account;
  • the exact message you see, copied and pasted;
  • what you clicked just before it happened, and the assignment name;
  • the date and time it happened;
  • your device and browser, for example “iPhone, Safari” or “Windows laptop, Chrome”;
  • a screenshot, if you can take one.

Write from the email on your account

Send your email from the address on your XYZ Homework account, so support can find your account. If your payment is on a different XYZ Homework account, write from that account’s email address, and mention both addresses.

Never send these

Your password, your card number, or your student ID number. Check that your screenshot doesn’t show any of them.
